August 15th MLA Staffing Update

MLA Staffing Update:

We wish to inform you that Executive Director Matt Mason is no longer with us at the Manitoba Lacrosse Association. We would like to thank Matt for his 7 years of service and dedication and wish him the best in his future endeavours. We ask that people respect Matt’s privacy during this time.

Tessa Zander, our Programs and Social Media Coordinator will be working limited hours moving forward as she will be returning to school in the Fall to pursue further education. Tessa is currently with our Female Canada Games Team in Newfoundland as an assistant coach.

During this time of transition, Serge Balcaen will be helping us in the office. Serge brings many years of experience, owning and running businesses, has chaired many boards in his community and also coached both box and field lacrosse teams at every level, as well as being a former board member of the Manitoba Lacrosse Association. Serge brings a wealth of knowledge, experience, skills, and leadership to the table. We are confident he will be a valuable addition to our team.
